Who I Am

I was born and raised in the NYC metropolitan area. I graduated with honors from Boston College in 1999. Following a successful career in finance, the relationship between the body and brain led me to pursue a new career in psychiatric medicine. I attending medical school at the State University of New York and completed four years of psychiatric training at the University of Texas Medical Branch where I served as Chief Resident.

Since then I have held appointments caring for patients across the lifespan in a broad range of settings including outpatient, hospital and drug/alcohol treatment centers. Since 2021 I have been employed by the Department of Veteran Affairs caring for the mental health needs of veterans in the Tampa Bay area.

I am licensed to practice medicine in Florida, Texas and Montana.

I am double board certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine.
